Intermotive Prpc: Electrical System recall
NHTSA campaign 22E008000 · 514 units potentially affected · filed Feb 14, 2022
What's wrong
Intermotive is recalling certain Programmable Relay Power Center (PRPC) modules, part number S-M1521-XX. Exposed copper may cause The PRPC module to short-circuit and fail.
Why it matters
A PRPC module failure can increase the risk of a fire.
The fix
Intermotive will install a wire jumper harness to the PRPC module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 7, 2022. Owners may contact Intermotive customer service at 530-823-1048, extension 103.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
