2022–2024 E-one Cyclone II, E-one Cyclone N, E-one Typhoon N: Engine And Engine Cooling recall
NHTSA campaign 24V646000 · 28 units potentially affected · filed Aug 30, 2024
What's wrong
E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Cyclone 2, 2022-2024 Cyclone N, and Typhoon N vehicles. The engine crossmember may break, allowing the cooling fan to contact the fan shroud and become damaged.
Why it matters
A damaged cooling fan can result in an engine stall while driving and increase the risk of a crash.
The fix
Dealers will inspect and repair the crossmember as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 24, 2024. Owners may contact E-One customer service at 1-352-237-1122.
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
