2022–2023 Mercedes-Benz Eqb 300 4MATIC, Mercedes-Benz Eqb 350 4MATIC: Electrical System recall

NHTSA campaign 25V487000 · 660 units potentially affected · filed Jul 25, 2025

🔥 NHTSA consumer advisory: Park outside and away from structures until repaired.

What's wrong

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2022-2023 EQB 350 4MATIC, and EQB 300 4MATIC vehicles. The bus bar in the high voltage battery may be secured with incorrect screws, which can cause the system to have a sudden loss of drive power without warning.

Why it matters

A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

The fix

Owners are advised to park outside until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will inspect and replace the high-voltage battery as necessary, free of charge. This will be a phased campaign, with the remedy becoming available in different phases based on model and model years. Owner notification letters were mailed January 9, 2026. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2025080004.
