2017–2025 Orange EV E-triever, Orange EV Husk-e, Orange EV T-series Electric Truck: Exterior Lighting recall
NHTSA campaign 25V612000 · 1,378 units potentially affected · filed Sep 12, 2025
What's wrong
Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2017-2024 T-Series, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and HUSK-e terminal trucks. The hazard warning lights may turn off when the ignition is in the 'Off' position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Why it matters
Hazard lights that do not remain on cannot warn other drivers of a disabled vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
OEV field service will install a new hazard light wire harness and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by November 24, 2025. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2025-SRC-07.
